The Alberta Democratic Renewal Project respects your right to privacy and is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust. Our Privacy Policy is compliant with Canada's Personal Information and Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Our website includes features that are designed to enable you to take action and help advocate for public interest issues in Alberta. Our online Membership Form requires some limited personal identification. Membership information is not shared.
This information is required on correspondence with decision makers to authenticate your letters, contribution to the Forum, and if necessary, to receive a written response. Any and all information we collect is saved on a secure server. Any personal information you provide to us will never be sold, traded, exchanged or otherwise divulged, without your knowledge & consent.
When you become a DRP member, you will receive updates, action alerts, and newsletters from us. We endeavour not to send more than one (two at most) email post to you each week. These postings may contain an appeal for donations.
By request, you can view and change this information by e-mailing our Comments Moderator. These requests are subject to Section 9 of the Personal Information and Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and may take up to 30 days to be fulfilled. All information between you and the DRP remains confidential.
You will always have the option of unsubscribing from the DRP mailing list, and on request, DRP will be pleased to erase all record of your personal information from our secure server. Thank you for your trust & confidence.
