Sample Letter to a Party Leader
Email messages
Brian Mason, MLA, Leader, Alberta New Democrats
Dr. David Swann, MLA, Leader. Alberta Liberals
Example 1:
I support the Democratic Renewal Project strategy of cooperation between the two opposition parties to elect a new government in this province. I’d work hard to elect a ‘united alternative’ Liberal or NDP candidate in my riding, or an unopposed opposition candidate in another riding. Your support is an important step forward!
Example 2:
I am a member of the __________ party. I support the Democratic Renewal Strategy of cooperating to elect more New Democrats and Liberals so that we become part of a new government for all Albertans. The Alberta New Democrats and the Alberta Liberals can agree on a fair distribution of seats and run one progressive candidate in winnable ridings to stop splitting the progressive vote. Your support is an important step forward!
Twitter messages
Vote smart! Don’t split the opposition!
Support the DRP strategy. Stop splitting the vote! Cooperate to elect progressive candidates and defeat the Tories.
